This pastel pencil lioness drawing is done on a soft brown pastel paper.

This lioness art depicts the beauty of the African cat. I allowed the color of the paper to show through the pastel to create a harmony in the drawing that is gentle – just like her expression caught in a moment of time.

The pastel paper provides a soft texture to the drawing enhancing the fur movement. I used a limited palette of 4 colors to create the artwork.
